Vince has been a GP at the Centre for 40 years. He hails from the Caribbean, and received his medical training in Edinburgh, via a prestigious scholarship. Otherwise, as he often says, I would be fishing on the reef at home. Following travels around the world, he returned to Scotland and trained as a Physician, becoming a Member of the British Royal College. Subsequent work took him back to the Caribbean as a Consultant Physician, followed by three years as a Consultant Physician in New Zealand. He has subsequently been in General Practice in Macksville since 1977. Widely read, with continuing Internal Medicine interest, and with particular interest in Cardio Metabolic Disease, Type II Diabetes, and Nutrition in relation to Longevity, and the prevention of Chronic Disease.
Dr Pyae Sone Win MBBS DCH FRACGP
Dr Pyae Sone Win is a GP who has been working in Nambucca and Macksville Since 2008. She had her foundation years training in England and attained her fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She is interested in all domains of family medicine especially Chronic Disease Management, Women’s Health, Adolescent and Children’s Health, Cross Cultural Health and Mental Health. She is enthusiastic about actively promoting healthy lifestyle changes.
Dr Aye Min Han MBBS DTM&H DCH FRACGP
Dr Aye Min Han has been working as a General Practitioner in the Nambucca Valley since 2010. He has worked in different hospitals across the UK and Australia before he started practicing as a General Practitioner. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. His other post-graduate qualifications include the Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene from the University of Liverpool, UK and the Diploma in Child Health from the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. He has special interests in Chronic Disease Management and promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Outside of working hours he enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, cycling as well as playing his collection of musical instruments.
